Manga:

In the 14 volumes first edition of the translated manga all have volume numbers printed on the covers except for vol. 4 Good Housekeeping & vol. 5 Empty Nest.
A less expensive smaller format '2nd edition' is coming out which will replace the older edition.

The 2nd ediution will have all the chapters in the original Japanese order plus the chapters that were not included int he older US edition.
Note: This means that the 1st and 2nd editions of the Maison Ikkoku manga do not have the same pagination. This means that a volume and page reference in The Anime Companion will not match both editions. Volume 2 of The Anime Companion will list both paginations when it scomes out in 2005.

As the smaller format 2nd edition volumes are announced I will add them here and remove the older format 'Order' links for those volumes..
