Mukōjima Shichifukujin Meguri / Mukōjima Seven Lucky Deities Pilgrimage (向島 七福神 めぐり)The dates for this pilgrimage are January 1st to January 7th, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This pilgrimage route was founded in 1804 by retired antique dealer Sahara Kikū who created the garden, now a park, Mukōjima Hyakkaen. This route is also known as the Sumidagawa Shichifukujin Meguri / Sumida River Seven Lucky Deities Pilgrimage. The path you take is up to you, there is no specific sequence you have to follow. You may wish to start at the southernmost or northernmost location as the route is close to the river. As you walk the route keep your eye out for other locations nearby to enjoy, perhaps to take a break and have some tea.
